HURON YOUTH SYNOD. Happy are they who trust in the Lord! A conversation about the Catechumenate with The Rev'd Canon Steve Harnadek, May 23 to 25, 2008 and Bishop Cronyn Memorial Church, London. There are registration forms on the Memorial Table, or, you can e-mail them at Huron Youth Synod.

NEW ORLEANS PIZZA – HABITAT FOR HUMANITY. Enclosed in the April 13 bulletin is a page of coupons for New Orleans Pizza for the two specials mentioned. They will donate $3 to Canon Davis for every order (pick-up or delivery). Canon Davis will put this money into the Habitat for Humanity Project. You may have noticed in the Observer that many churches are holding fundraisers for the Habitat for Humanity Project.

MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS SOCIETY OF CANADA 2008 Carnation Campaign May 9th & 10th for Mother's Day. There are forms on the Memorial Table if you are interested in ordering carnations.

AT VESTRY it was suggested that the Church and Hall be fragrance free as there are some people allergic to strong fragrances. We would ask that people use these only with caution and consideration. Some churches and public facilities have already banned the use of fragrances.
DINERS CLUB, PARKER STREET UNITED CHURCH: We are looking for volunteers to assist one (1) Tuesday (approximately) per month in preparing vegetables, salad, etc. for a meal served at noon. Please call Kathy Graham at 519-344-2754 if you are able to help out. We partner with Parker Street and St. Peter's volunteers. WORSHIP COMMITTEE are still looking for volunteers, especially from the 10:00am service. Please call Bob Harrison at 519-542-9936.
